Pigs, bandicoots, and echnidnas. In order of wierdness!
Most of these animals are from the forests around Brisbane, with a couple of farm domestic animals and Sri Lankan elephants thrown into the mix.
We regularly see this Echidna on our evening walks. We have been giving it water in the drier spring months. It's rolled into a ball here - and is probably invincible to all native predators.
This is a bandicoot. It hops like a kangaroo and is very quick. They eat ants and dig lots of holes. If you prize your garden, don't get a bandicoot.
This is the housebull. Next time you think your cat / dog / goldfish /gerbil is pretty cool, remember that it is no match for the awesomeness of the housebull.
